					<description>Jeremy's tenure in charge of Firstplus was based on poor risk calculations, maximising profit whilst betting on the future market and house price plus wages increase. The relaxation in credit risk analysis (to be fair done almost world wide) has created the sub-prime problems reported at this time (Sep 07). The ceo prior to J Masding grew Firstplus in an organic way, but did not meet the expectations of Barclays short term goals. Which two philosophies were the best ? - As a former employee who served under both I think the former philosophy of organic growth was better ..</description>
